CTAEX \u2013 CENTRO TECNOL\u00d3GICO NACIONAL AGROALIMENTARIO<\/span><\/h1>\n

CTAEX, is a business association of Agricultural and Food research, which aims to improve the competitiveness of companies in this sector, through research, innovation and transfer of results.<\/span>
A Technology Center of national reference in the agri-food sector, based on the principles of quality and with a marked innovative character, which develops flexible actions in alliance with other public and private agents of the Science-Technology-Business system. In 2004 it was recognized by the Interministerial Commission of Science and Technology (CICYT) as a Technology Center with the number 80, as well as a Research Results Transfer Office (number 189).<\/span>
The services offered at CTAEX are very diverse, focused on its five strategic lines of research:<\/span>
o Minimally processed food preservation techniques.<\/span>
o Development of new food products.<\/span>
o Healthy Foods. Improvement of the characteristics of traditional foods.<\/span>
o Optimization of agricultural systems.<\/span>
o Valorization of wastes, by-products and extracts of aromatic and medicinal plants.<\/span><\/p>\n
