IGP ACEITE DE JAÉN

The acronym PGI is the abbreviation for Protected Geographical Indication, which is responsible for grouping all the EVOO from the province of Jaén under the same quality label. We have the privilege of being the first extra virgin olive oil PGI recognised in Spain by Brussels, protecting the differentiated quality of the product. An endorsement by the European Union as a symbol of excellence for our “green gold” at national, European and international level. The organoleptic characteristics of Jaén PGI oils are marked by an aroma of healthy, fresh olives, harvested before 31 December, with a marked bitter and spicy flavour. This gives it a sensory character of great personality, a real pleasure for the senses.
